You say you want a revolution.

Here, I created a mini concentration using the image of a clenched fist to symbolize strength and power. I am passionate about youth getting involved in current events and taking action in the world. To portray this, I used the fist to represent the amount of strength that youth collectively have. I used several techniques to create the individual images. The dripping blood in the bottom left-hand corner symbolizes the injustices that we must counteract. For the fist in the bottom right-hand corner, I used a collage technique to create blocks of color with torn paper to represent how individuals can come together to form something larger. For the final fist in the top right-hand corner, I utilized natural images such as flowers, leaves, and vines to represent the connection that humans have to the world and enforce the obligation that we have to remove all of the injustices from it. The central image states “BE STRONG, SPEAK OUT” to tie all of the fists together. Also, the words in the background, strength, endure, change, and others in various languages, further convey this message.
