This is another selection from my research workbook. The assignment was to scribble on a page and describe the images that appeared. I decided to add color to this piece using some of the ideas that Romero Britto uses in his work. In the upper left-hand corner, I used cool colors where the lines created waves and fish. For the section where the images represented flames, I used warm colors. And lastly, for the section on the bottom that had more of an organic theme, I used neutral colors. The piece remains fun and colorful without a true central theme. The bright colors and outlined sections keep the images flat.
