Sarah Pollack

This piece was inspired by the work of Keith Haring. He used small stick figures and UFOs to impart meaningful messages regarding action and unity. He created pieces about the things that he was passionate about, that held a special meaning in his life. During the time that I created this piece, I developed a bond with my newly born cousin, Shayna Lily Rivera, and I used her initials in this piece. I used bright colors to keep the piece fun and youthful. "Smush" is the nickname that I've developed for Shayna.
