Sarah Pollack

For this piece, I took inspiration from popular Brazilian artist, Romero Britto. He flattens his images by using blocks of colors and solid black lines to outline the areas. He also implies textures using shape, line, and form within the designated sections. The orange of the flowers in the foreground contrast the blue background and I used my initials as one of the textures to make the piece my own.
